Becker Morgan Group Celebrates Doug Burns on CPNI Service Award Recognition

Becker Morgan Group is proud to announce that Doug Burns, AIA, has been named the two-time recipient of the prestigious CPNI Collins Cooper Memorial Service Award, recently presented during the Construction Professionals Network (CPN) of North Carolina Annual Conference.

The Collins Cooper Memorial Service Award honors individuals who lead through service and make a lasting impact on the organization. Burns was recognized for his leadership in coordinating and delivering a series of town workshops that expanded engagement, strengthened collaboration, and created new opportunities for connection across the membership. His thoughtful planning and strategic vision were instrumental in bringing these initiatives to life, earning him distinction as the first-ever two-time recipient of the award.

Burns previously served as Chairperson of CPNI, a one-year leadership role dedicated to guiding the organization’s mission and initiatives. CPNI (Construction Partners Network Institute) is a nonprofit that provides access to resources and delivers thought leadership to support and uplift economically challenged communities throughout the state of North Carolina. The annual conference is a key industry event, uniting professionals from across the state to connect, learn, and celebrate leadership and service.
