The Smoke Pit Restaurant Group continues its strategic expansion across Charlotte and the surrounding region with its newest flagship location in and a Mooresville, North Carolina. This project reimagines a former restaurant site, transforming an existing 6,000-square-foot space through a thoughtful renovation and an approximately 4,000-square-foot addition. The result is a signature destination that reflects the brand’s evolving identity. Working in close collaboration with the ownership team, BMG led a redesign of the existing interior while introducing key architectural additions, including a new front entry, an expanded bar experience, and a state-of-the-art, 2,000+ square-foot smoke room. These additions elevate the guest experience but also reinforce the authenticity and craftsmanship that define The Smoke Pit brand. The design reflects innovation with nostalgia—preserving the warm, familiar character guests expect, while delivering a bold new expression that rebrands the building for a growing market. Anchoring the concept is the dedicated smoke room, positioning this location as the central hub for the group’s catering operations and a cornerstone for future growth.
