Responsive Service

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck last week near Dover, DE, and was reportedly the strongest recorded earthquake in the state’s history. The earthquake was felt throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Peninsula Regional Medical Center (PRMC) provides emergency and trauma care for every major traumatic injury that arrives at the Eastern Shore’s state-designated, Level III Emergency/Trauma Center. After the quake struck, PRMC’s helipad needed confirmation for structural stability in order to remain operational. BMG sprung into action immediately upon receiving a 6:10pm email, and before 7:30pm the all clear was confirmed by our structural engineer, Jeremy Walbert, P.E. According to Tom Anderson, Executive Director for Facilities & Property Management at PRMC, “A response such as yours tonight, with such speed, was both very much appreciated and placed our ER back in service in an incredibly short time. Truly a stellar response and performance.” We’re proud of our team for their swift response in assisting PRMC and assuring the safety of our community!
