Academy Pointe Subdivision

Academy Pointe is a thoughtfully planned infill community situated on approximately 35 acres in the Town of Clayton. The neighborhood offers a diverse mix of housing, including 133 single‑family detached homes, 12 single‑family attached residences, and 110 multifamily units, creating a well‑balanced and welcoming residential environment. To support safe and efficient travel for both residents and the surrounding area, the project incorporated required off‑site roadway improvements, including the addition of a dedicated left‑turn lane at the intersection of O’Neil Street and Rosemary Street. These enhancements strengthen connectivity and improve traffic flow for the broader community.

A key feature of the master plan is the incorporation of a modern traffic circle designed to improve circulation for the adjacent Cooper Academy Elementary School. This improvement streamlines parent pick‑up and drop‑off traffic and enhances school bus access, offering a safer and more efficient experience for students, families, and school staff. Academy Pointe blends smart design, upgraded infrastructure, and community‑focused planning to create a connected and inviting place to call home.
