Capital Station

Formerly the site of the Playtex manufacturing facility, Becker Morgan Group was tasked with redeveloping the site to become an economic hub in Dover, Delaware. The 65,000 sf shopping center is comprised of five buildings, including strip retail/restaurant space, pad retail/restaurant space, and a grocery anchor. Point cloud technology was used throughout the redevelopment process to produce 3D documentation of the existing site to provide consistent and accurate data to the entire project team. The redeveloped site welcomes customers and promotes business, while accommodating increased vehicular and pedestrian traffic to the site. Significant coordination was required between the Delaware Department of Transportation and the Client to significantly improve the area infrastructure and meet the goals of the stakeholders and community. Becker Morgan Group provided Survey, Civil/Site Engineering, and Landscape Architecture services for this project.
