The proposed Duck Creek Regional Library is scheduled to replace an existing 5,000 sf space and is a direct result of the Needs Assessment completed for the library in 2014, as well as an extensive programming effort undertaken to develop the requirements for the library. The site, adjacent and connected to the old post office on Main Street, is located in downtown Smyrna to facilitate easy access for pedestrian patrons as well as those coming by car. The two-story structure includes multiple meeting rooms, a large children’s area, teen areas, and multiple areas for adult usage, including a business incubator space.
