Food Bank of Delaware

Becker Morgan Group had the pleasure of partnering with the Food Bank of Delaware to plan and design their new Milford campus. Their passion and commitment to nourishing the community inspired each step of the process. The new 67,000 sf facility provides a large warehouse for food storage, classrooms for workforce development programs, a healthy pantry center, community café and student-led commercial kitchen, volunteer room, and administrative spaces. The entrance plaza connects the main building to the agricultural functions of the site including greenhouses, farming plots, and a packing barn. Collaboration with neighboring non-profits and the Delaware Veterans Home strengthened the site design and inspired a memorial garden and pavilion.
