Lewes Public Library Pavilion

This versatile, open-air pavilion for the Lewes Public Library, the first in the state of Delaware, provides much needed space for outdoor programs, meetings, performances, and gatherings of all kinds. With a flexible stage and state-of-the-art audio/video system, the space accommodates everything from intimate presentations to professional ensembles. The covered pavilion is designed to seat approximately 150 guests with clear sightlines, while additional outdoor seating provides flexibility for larger events. This thoughtful design expands the library’s ability to host diverse activities, strengthening its role as a welcoming destination that fosters learning, creativity, and community engagement.
