MedNorth Health Center

MedNorth Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center committed to providing accessible, high-quality primary care and support services to underserved populations in Wilmington, North Carolina, and the surrounding region. As part of its mission to improve community health, MedNorth is constructing a new facility to expand its services and enhance patient care. Thomas Construction and Becker Morgan Group teamed up through the Design-Build project deliver method, to support this initiative. By utilizing the Design-Build method there is enhanced communication and collaboration helping streamline the design and construction process. Becker Morgan Group initially provided architectural and interior design services to assist MedNorth. In addition to these services Becker Morgan Group is aiding in the procurement of furniture, artwork, and wayfinding signage for the new building. These additional services are intended to complement the interior design scope, which covers architectural interiors, finish selections, and lighting fixtures. This enhanced scope will help create a welcoming and patient-centered environment through thoughtful coordination of furnishings and visual elements that support both aesthetic and functional goals. The overall design will improve the patient services, allows for additional services, and increase operational efficiencies.
