Milford Wellness Village | Polaris Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center

On the site of the former Milford Memorial Hospital, Becker Morgan Group was tasked with transforming the once hospital into a multi-tenant wellness village with facilities to benefit the entire community. Services include skilled nursing, a fitness center, pharmacy, chronic disease management, childcare services, primary care, and many more. The campus is anchored by Polaris Healthcare and Rehabilitation, a 150-bed skilled nursing facility. The nursing facility includes single and double patient rooms, a dining area, large therapy area, and lounge space for residents and guests. As a part of patient rehabilitation, ADL (activities of daily living) rooms were designed to help residents acclimate themselves back to day-to-day life. The ADL rooms are equipped with mock equipment, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, washer, and dryer. Special attention was given to the finishes and indoor environment in order to create a place of healing for patients.
