Design of the area’s first HDTV digital broadcast news studio, the 11,340 sf newsroom addition is in a precast concrete building capable of resisting hurricane force winds and includes a 1,380 sf mezzanine, courtyard, and site design. Raised, removable flooring panels provide access to the more than 10 miles of cables below. The facility was designed in cooperation with FX Design Group of Ocoee, FL. Becker Morgan Group provided Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Interior Design services.
