Wilmington Fire Station No. 6 | Riverlights

Designing this fire station on an undeveloped site in the Riverlights development required imagining the future neighborhood – aesthetics, scale, traffic – and coordinating with neighborhood development guidelines and review committees. An 8-12 member crew serves this rapidly growing residential community on the Cape Fear River. Spaces include a lounge, dine-in kitchen, and fitness/training rooms on an elevated, wooded site. Becker Morgan Group supplied Architecture, Planning, Design, and Construction services for the 13,873 sf, three drive-through bay fire station.
