Kent County Family YMCA

KRM Development partnered with YMCA of the Chesapeake to provide a 58,000-sf facility for the Kent County Family YMCA in Chestertown. The community asset will offer programming to identify and address specific community needs. A competition pool, gym, basketball courts, studio space, indoor track, multipurpose rooms, and children’s area are all features of the state-of-the-art community hub. The design intent behind the building was to create a multi-use space that could continue to grow with the community. This YMCA of the Chesapeake location has seen exponential growth and the new space is designed to accommodate up to 5,000 members.
