Wor-Wic Community College | Allied Health & Science Building

The 31,000 sf three-story Henson Hall includes science labs, science prep rooms, classrooms, computer labs, meeting rooms, departmental administrative offices, and faculty offices. Collegiate level science laboratories are grouped in modules of two laboratories sharing a common faculty prep area. The rooms are complete with capabilities for localized computer ports and telecommunication facilities at each station within the laboratory. The administrative suite includes conference rooms, as well as a large student assembly lecture room. The project also includes water treatment plant upgrades, utility extensions, a new service road, and a 118-car parking lot expansion. The building was designed to harmonize with the established collegiate character of the existing campus buildings. This new construction project was administered through Maryland Community College and DGS System of Agency Approvals.
