The Martin Luther King Student Center project required demolition of the old student center and parking lot, and construction of a new three-story 68,000 sf building. Site improvements included construction of three outdoor basketball courts, two outdoor sand volleyball courts, a complex of sidewalks, depressed loading dock area, and the relocation of sanitary sewer mains, water main, storm drain and other site utilities.

The Wellness Center & Pool entailed partial demolition of the old Memorial Hall and new construction of a two-story 43,600 sf addition to the south end of the existing NCAA gymnasium for use of the general student body. Site improvements included relocation of sanitary sewer mains, water main, storm drain and other site utilities, a new passenger drop off loop/fire lane, and walkways to the new entrances. The project also included a 10,570 sf recreational pool addition.

The Strength & Conditioning Center is a two-story 17,200 sf building located on the north end of the NCAA gymnasium and provides a large area for strength training equipment for the University’s athletic teams, locker rooms, coaching staff offices, new main entrance, and a ticket booth. Site improvements included a large plaza area in front of the new entrance.
