17,000 sf renovation of the entire third floor in the Corporate Research I Building for an information research and analytics user on NC State’s Centennial Campus, a research and education campus. As part of NC State’s world class public/private venture in science and technology, this project complied with the latest standards for energy efficiency, data management, and security. The project included complete interior demolition and construction of all new interior spaces, finishes, lighting, electrical, telecom, and security. The existing HVAC and sprinkler systems were supplemented and modified. All work conformed to the Department of Defense standards for building and ICD 705. The project was administered by the State Construction Office, NC State, and United States Army Corps of Engineers Baltimore District with input from the Department of Defense.
