As Chief Operating Officer, Denise West provides strategic leadership across Becker Morgan Group’s operations, financial management, and organizational performance. She oversees firmwide systems, supports cross-disciplinary collaboration, and drives initiatives that strengthen efficiency, quality, and client service across all office locations. With a leadership style grounded in clarity, accountability, and long-range planning, Denise plays a key role in guiding the firm’s continued growth.

Denise brings more than 25 years of executive experience spanning finance, operations, and organizational strategy. Prior to joining Becker Morgan Group, she served as Vice President of Accounting and Human Resources for 10 years at Insight Homes, where she led financial operations, budgeting, compliance, HR, and major process improvements—including KPI development, multi-year business planning, and comprehensive safety programs that enhanced operational visibility and executive decision-making.

She previously served 16 years with South Moon Sales, Inc. as Vice President of Finance and Operations, where she oversaw Finance, HR, IT, and Distribution. In that role, she strengthened internal controls, improved planning models, and supported the company’s efforts to scale its operations, contributing to a successful ownership transition.

Denise began her career in public accounting, gaining experience in tax, audit, compliance, and financial reporting across diverse industries.

She earned her B.A. in Business and Economics, magna cum laude, from McDaniel College and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. Denise is an active member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
